I find that there is a lot of hype on the labels. I live in an area of extremely hard water, and when I buy products to clean the shower, toilets, and sinks, am often disappointed because they fail to remove the soap scum and hard water deposits. Then I was searching cleaning product reviews for something that would work, having become cynical about the things they were selling at the grocery store for mineral removal, and found a product I never would have dreamed of. It's the oven cleaner that comes in the blue spray cans-a type of Easy Off. It's the one that is OK to use for cold ovens and has no perfumes. The cleaning product reviews consistently said that it worked great for removing soap scum and hard water deposits. I bought a can of it, tried it, and it is just simply fantastic for those applications. It probably works on all sorts of other cleaning challenges, too.
